Here's the Latest at Pathways

February was super busy, and March is off to a strong start! We're nearly done putting in phase 2 fire sprinklers, fixing up the Auditorium for larger workshops, trainings, and job fairs, and making more room for the Bethel Day Shelter. Plus, we've got a fun fundraising event coming up in April. As Spring arrives, we're preparing for the new season and all the changes it brings. We're committed to ensuring safety, security, stability, and support for our on-site partners and individuals facing poverty.

Sparking change, one day at a time!

This April, Pathways Community Center wants to make giving fun! Whether you're a family teaching the value of philanthropy to your kids, an individual looking to make a difference, a business ready to rally your team for a noble cause, or a church looking to inspire your congregation—this is your moment to shine! From April 1st to April 30th, every donation you make will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $30,000. Keep an eye out for more details as we unveil exciting opportunities to double your impact!

Reflecting on November: Collective Impact in Action November was a month of powerful collaboration, showcasing the incredible outcomes that are possible when organizations come together. Through the combined efforts of Bethel Shelters, The Life House Cottage, No Sad Story Ministry, and The Haven Men's Shelter, 17 individuals transitioned from shelter to independent housing. These successes mean more than just finding a roof over their heads—they signify long-term stability, the ability to manage household responsibilities, and active engagement in the community and supportive services that enhance their quality of life. Every month, our team gathers to review our collective impact, identify trends, and ask critical questions: What’s working? What needs improvement? These discussions drive innovation and strengthen our continuum of care, helping clients progress more swiftly toward self-sufficiency. Impact often extends beyond traditional programs or services—it’s seen in the small but meaningful contributions of our community. Whether it’s sharing fellowship over a meal at House of Agape, volunteering time to cut hair or do nails, or teaching a professional class in the learning lab, each act of kindness and connection can transform lives. Together, as a united community, we are stronger. Let’s continue to build, collaborate, and make a difference!
